As a wide receiver this year, Shaun had over 20 catches with eight touchdowns.
The 5-foot-10, 185 pounder also ran the ball on sweeps and reverses, scoring twice against Point Loma with runs of 70 and 50 yards. Against Scripps Ranch, Harper returned a punt over 60 yards for a touchdown and also had an interception contributing to his total of four for the year.
Additionally, from his cornerback position, he registered upwards of 70 tackles and had 15 pass break ups.
Although currently without an offer, Harper hears from Arizona, Washington, Oregon, Fresno State, Colorado, Nebraska and Kansas State. Shaun said, “I heard from Oklahoma for a while but not anymore. I get a letter almost every day from Nebraska. I talked to Coach Miller, I think at Kansas State and they have sent me some (letters) but not much anymore.”
So far, Harper has scheduled a visit with Arizona for January 11th. “I think Arizona might offer,” Shaun Harper said. He indicates that he would probably round out his five visits to Washington, Oregon, Colorado and Fresno State.
