Nolton claims two leaders

Irvington, N.J. linebacker Dawan Nolton claims two schools are sticking out for his services. The 5-foot-11, 192-pounder holds three offers and is receiving interest from a couple other programs.
"I've got the same offers, Connecticut, Temple and Toledo," he said. "Maine and Syracuse have also been talking to me.

"Syracuse came in not too long ago and said they really need linebackers with my speed and body weight. They haven't offered yet. They do think I could be one of those linebackers."
With three offers and interest, is Nolton looking at visits?
"My first visit will probably be to Toledo or Maine. I'm not completely sure yet."
At this time, two schools are standing out to the two-star prospect.
"I like Syracuse and Toledo," he said. "Both of them seem like they really need me and I might have a chance of playing early.
"My best friend Lamar Middleton goes to Syracuse, while I've got two former teammates at Toledo. That is big since they tell me a lot of good things about the schools. I will probably take visits to both of those."
Nolton helped his team to a 9-1 record this year as he posted 72 tackles, two interceptions and three sacks.
