Nolen picks up new offer

Wide receiver/safety Todd Nolen already had a few offers to choose from, and now another school has joined the mix.
"I just received a scholarship from North Carolina," said Nolen. "I'd put them in my top five or six schools. I know they have a solid tradition and the academics there are supposed to be really good. And they're in the ACC, so that's another plus. But there are a lot of great schools out there."

The 6-foot-3, 185-pound prospect from Hampton, Virginia already had offers from Nebraska, Syracuse, UVA and Virginia Tech. What schools is he considering?
"I'm looking at Maryland, Ohio State, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Nebraska, Syracuse and North Carolina. They're about even at this point. I haven't set up any official visits, so I know once I set those and start getting out on the road things will seem a little more clear."
Hampton hasn't played any games yet, but has been scrimmaging of late. Their first game is Sept. 10. Nolen doesn't plan on announcing his decision until after his senior season.
Nolen is rated the No. 38 receiver in the nation, and the No. 7 overall prospect in Virginia.
