Nolen keeping quiet about favorites

Hampton, Va. wide receiver Todd Nolen may not be saying who are his favorite choices when it comes to choosing a school, but the 6-foot-3, 185-pound speedy talent does know what he will be looking for.
“I’m looking forward to taking official visits and seeing what the coaching staff is like and how I fit in on campus,” Nolen said. “Finding a good fit is important. I’ve got five schools who have offered and the situation hasn’t changed much yet.”

Nebraska, Virginia, Syracuse, Virginia Tech and North Carolina have offered scholarships, Nolen said.
Nolen is working on setting up official visits to check the schools out. In the meantime, he is putting up big numbers for his 7-0 high school team. He had seven catches for 238 yards and one touchdown in the Crabbers last game. It has been big year for Nolen and the Crabbers program. The Rivals.com three-star wide receiver was named homecoming king at his school and the program recently won its 700th game.
“We’re having a good year and I’m focusing on giving everything I can to help us win the rest of the way,” said Nolen, who now has 30 catches for 858 yards in his senior season. “Our games are on Saturday’s so it has been hard to set up the official visits, but I’m looking forward to getting out there and seeing these schools in person.”
Seeing the schools in person should help make clear what Nolen said is a close race for his services.
“All five are in the picture,” Nolen said. “I don’t have a favorite.”
