NoCal TE gets first offer

Tight end Ryan Moya (6-4, 235, 4.6) from El Dorado (Calif.) Oak Ridge has received his first offer. He has a very busy spring thus far. In late April Moya attended USC’s s skills camp and this past weekend (May 8th), he was at Fresno State’s camp.
Moya must have been pretty impressive because he received his first offer from Fresno State just last evening.

“I am very pleased with my first offer,” Moya said. “I attended Fresno State’s camp this past weekend and they offered just last night (May 11).”
“Fresno State told me I may have an opportunity to start as a true freshman,” Moya said. “I ran a 4.6 40 at the Fresno State camp and recorded a 33-inch vertical jump at the USC camp.”
Look for more offers to come Moya’s way now that Fresno State has broken the ice.
“I have been getting two or three colleges to come by my school a day,” Moya said. “USC came by shortly after I attended their camp.”
“USC is recruiting me because they likes the way I competed at the camp,” Moya said. “Cal came by yesterday and I will be going to their one day camp.”
In an earlier interview with Moya he told Rivals.com that USC head coach wants him to come to the Trojan camp this summer and take an unofficial visit.
“Head coach (Pete) Carroll wants to come down to the camp in June,” Moya said. “Coach Carroll also wants me to take an unofficial visit this summer to see the campus.”
Moya has received phone calls from USC, Fresno State and Duke.
“Duke will be coming by the school this spring after the NIKE Camp at Stanford,” Moya said. “Northwestern is another school that has showed interest and I’m also interested in them.”
Moya had 39 receptions for 663 yards and eight touchdowns. He was selected all-conference, all-city and all-section for his junior year performance. His team was 12-1 and Section Champs last season.
