NoCal RB sets visits

Three-star running back Curtis Shaw (5-11, 190, 4.5) from Stockton (Calif.) Lincoln lived up to his school's lofty reputation for developing top-notch football talent.
Shaw hails from the same school that has produced running back Lynell Hamilton (San Diego State), running back Chris Henry (Arizona), running back Louis Rankin Washington, wide receiver Ruben Jackson (Oregon State) and wide receiver Lavelle Hawkins (Cal). All have contributed to their schools.

Shaw has displayed the same kind of skill and will more than likely follow suit and have success on the D-I level.
As a senior, Shaw rushed for 1,766 yards on 167 carries and scored 25 touchdowns. He also caught three passes, one for a touchdown.
Shaw has had offers on the table from Cal, Oregon State, Washington, Washington State, Michigan, Nebraska, San Diego State and Fresno State for sometime. He has received recent offers from Oregon, Purdue, Arizona, Arizona State, Idaho, Montana and Montana State.
"I will take my first visit to Washington on December 8th and I will visit Fresno State on January 26th," Rankin said. "I have set up visits to Michigan and Oregon for January, but we haven't settled on dates yet."
"I'm keeping my options open for my last visit," Rankin said. "USC has been calling me lately and I could take my final visit to USC."
What is Shaw looking for in a school?
"I'm looking for a school that has good teachers in the subject I will major in," Rankin said. "I'm going to be playing football and I want to play for someone who won't give up on you and just go to the next guy. I want the coaches to care about you as a person as well as a football player."
"I will probably make up my decision sometime late in the process."
As a junior, Shaw earned first-team all-league, first-team all-area and League Offensive Back of the Year after rushing for 1,653 yards and 21 touchdowns. He also caught six passes for 102 yards and he had another score.
In an earlier interview with Rivals.com, Lincoln coach Jim Rubiales had the following to say about his talented running back.
"Curtis is a speed guy who runs hard and is pretty elusive. He's also an excellent receiver."
