No visits soon for Hooper

Austin Hooper was scheduled to attend the USC-Stanford matchup this past weekend and it was a good one to see but the three-star defensive end from Concord (Calif.) De La Salle did not make the trip.
The 6-foot-4, 233-pound recruit isn't planning any visits until after the season and that means a decision probably won't come until much later.

"I didn't end up going," Hooper said.
"I don't have anything planned yet. I am going to wait until my season plays out and then once it's over I'm going to coordinate some visits.
"That's definitely the plan. I want my season to play out. Hopefully, it will go the right way and then once I'm done with high school I'll focus on college."
During the following months, Hooper could pick up offers from more schools but the De La Salle standout already has an impressive list.
So far, Arizona, Arizona State, Boise State, Cal, Colorado, Houston, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Oregon, Oregon State, Purdue, Stanford, Utah, Washington, Washington State and others have offered.
Although he does not plan any official visits until after his senior season, there is one school in particular he definitely wants to visit.
Ducks' fans should definitely be happy by Hooper's comments.
"I definitely want to take an official to Oregon," Hooper said. "I didn't end up going up there unofficially so I want to check it out.
"I've never really been up there. I know about their football program but I've never been up there to see it for myself so I want to check it all out, see what they have and then weigh my options."
