No rush for national DE

Some recruits love talking to reporters and playing the recruiting game and others do all they can to avoid the spotlight. Denton (Texas) Ryan defensive end and Rivals100 selection Jarvis Moss doesn’t fit into either category at this point.
That’s because Moss doesn’t mind talking to the media and is definitely concerned about his future, but at this point he doesn’t have much to say.

Ask him for his top teams, and you’ll get an interesting answer.
“I really like almost all of the Big 12,” he said. “I really do. I think I have offers from all of the teams in the Big 12, and I’m looking at them all. I also like the Florida teams, too. Be sure to put them on my list.”
Instead of being shy and avoiding the media or a quote machine, Moss falls into that category that almost all of the recruits do at this point in time – the undecided.
Even with commitments flying all over the place, many recruits aren’t in a rush to make something happen and Moss is with them – even when you try to ask him about specific teams.
Ask about a Texas, Nebraska or an Oklahoma and you’ll get the typical “I’m interested in them” line. Then ask about the Big Three in Florida and it sounds like a broken record.
“I’m not trying to be mean or anything,” Moss said. “I just really don’t know what I’m going to do. I’m more worried about trying to figure out how we’re going to win state again more than anything.
“That means much more to me and my teammates than where I’m going to go to school at in a year. The recruiting stuff will still be there when I’m done and when we win state again.”
He’s right.
With Moss’ ability to get to the quarterback and make big plays, he’s one of the nation’s most sought after players. Rivals.com ranks him as the No. 4 player in Texas. Teams will wait for him because he’s that good and so will we.
Just don’t expect any major recruiting news out of Moss until his season’s in full swing.
