No rush for Baker

Livonia (La.) defensive end Willie Baker has his pick of several college options but he is not in a hurry to schedule visits or narrow his list.
"I'm not really too much worried about going anywhere," Baker said. "I'm just focused on my senior season and making sure I have a great senior season."

Baker is not ready to declare anyone his favorites or narrow his list, but he does admit Tennessee, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Arkansas, Louisiana Tech, ULL, and Illinois stand out in his mind at this point.
"I've met the coaches and they've explained a lot of stuff to me about their schools," Baker said. "They've just made me very interested in them."
He also has a few unofficial visits in mind during the season.
"I might go to Texas A&M when they play LSU or when La Tech plays UL," Baker said. "Stuff like that that's not too far."
After the season, Baker plans to narrow his list and make some decisions about his college future. He may not plan to make any deicison soon, but he does have a few factors in mind when the time comes to trim his list.
"Just the relationship with the coaches. The atmosphere, making sure it feels like a home to me. Everything with the team and how they do things over there and how they can help me on and off the field. "
Baker recorded 108 tackles, 29 TFLs, and 12 sacks on his way to district defensive MVP and all-state honors in 2014.
