No offers yet for Barksdale
Batesville (Miss.) South Panola athlete Darius Barksdale says he does not have any early scholarship offers and that he hasn't been getting any attention by way of text messaging or even personalized letters from colleges. He does, however, have a list of schools that he is interested in.
"I don't have any offers, but I am interested in some schools," he said. "I'm interested in Florida State, Georgia, Florida, Michigan, Auburn, Alabama, LSU, Georgia Tech."

Barksdale recently attended a junior day event at Ole Miss.
"It went good," he said.
Barksdale's brother, Bud Barksdale, also is a potential Division I-A prospect.
Darius Barksdale, a first-team All-State selection during his junior year, is a Rivals100 to watch selection.
