No news is news on Arkansas standout
News travels quickly in small towns like Osceola, Ark. But when reports surfaced that Chris Baker had committed to Iowa it was news to everybody in the Eastern Arkansas town - including Baker's coach.
"You're the first to call about that one," Osceola coach Clinton Gore said. "But I can tell you that Chris is undecided still.

"I sat with his mom last night at the basketball game and we talked about things. She said they've not made any kind of decision yet."
Baker is down to Arkansas and Iowa and said late last week that he was torn between the two schools. That appears to still be the case.
"I think his mother likes Iowa for reasons other than football," Gore said. "I think she really likes the academics there. But I also know that she would like her son to stay near home and be close to the family."
"Chris has a big decision, but it's one that he's not made quite yet."
