No doubt about Simons favorite

Linebacker Nick Simon's brother Ben Simon of the Atlanta Thrashers was a standout hockey player at Notre Dame. So it shouldn't come as a big surprise that Nick's favorite is also the Fighting Irish.
"Ben had a full-ride to Notre Dame for hockey," Nick said. "I really love Notre Dame. They are my number one by far."

"This summer I did a circuit of one-day camps. I went to Pitt, West Virginia, Michigan, and Ohio State and Notre Dame. It was a good time."
"My top three is Notre Dame first by far, then Michigan, then Pitt. The schools I like are the ones I went to camp at."
"I don't think I'll be visiting anyone else this summer."
"I've had numerous schools call. They all say I'm borderline (for a scholarship). They want to wait till right before the season to decide, or watch me play during the season."
The 6-foot-2 and 215 pound Simon made 68 tackles including five sacks during his junior season. For his career Simon has 188 tackles going into his senior season. He has a 2.8 GPA and scored a 21 on the ACT.
