No decision yet from Okoli

Virginia Beach (Va.) Salem defensive tackle Chimaeze Okoli previously announced he had hoped to have a decision by today, Wednesday January 31st between his three finalists. At this time, the 6-foot-5, 275-pounder still doesn't have his decision made up, but he did confirm he's down to two schools.
"I'm down to two schools now Virginia Tech and Penn State," he said. "I haven't been able to make a decision yet. It's going to happen by the end of the week."

Some discussion has come up in reference to Virginia Tech and a possible math credit he may need to acquire if he were to decide to go there. Could that be a problem for the Hokies?
"I missed the math class last year, but that's not a factor in my decision," he said. "I'm taking the class anyway and I'm still up in the air between my final two schools."
What stands out about the Hokies and Nittany Lions to the three-star lineman?
"I like Virginia Tech because of the people they have there. The coaching staff is solid and it's a state school. I also have family there," he said. "Penn State is great because of the coaching staff too. Coach Paterno and Larry Johnson are real cool. I like the fact thy are full of tradition and have the biggest student section in the country too."
