Grove on Aug. 29.
Cedar Grove Key Prospects
Antwuan Jackson
DT Antwuan Jackson -- Ohio State, Auburn and
Georgia are all still jockeying to land the Rivals100 defensive tackle.
LB Elysee Mbem-Bosse -- Auburn appears to be the favorite to land Mbem-Bosse, with Ohio State and
N.C. State still in the mix.
OG Netori Johnson (2017) -- The Rivals100 offensive lineman is committed to
Alabama, but USC and Georgia are still pushing for his services.
DB Tre Shaw (2017) -- The Rivals250 defensive back has a
top five of Ole Miss, Florida, Georgia, Auburn and North Carolina.
QB Jelani Woods (2017) -- Woods has an early offer from
USF, but is poised for a breakout junior season.
OT Justin Shaffer (2017) -- The three-star offensive tackle has an offer from
Louisville.
Hallandale Key Prospects
Demari Simpkins
QB Tyler Huntley -- Huntley is committed to Utah.
RB Zack Moss -- Moss is committed to Miami and seems solid in his pledge for the time being.
WR Josh Hammond -- Hammond is committed to Florida and has strong family ties to the Gators' program. He is likely to sign with UF in February.
DB Deion Jackson -- Jackson is committed to Miami but may open his recruitment should the Hurricanes' season go south.
WR Demari Simpkins -- Simpkins committed to Utah
over the weekend.
WR Neru N'Shaka -- A Virginia commit, N'Shaka still intends to keep his options open as the season progresses.
WR Chris Cotto -- Cotto has a handful of offers from programs of varying relevance. Still, he has the talent to attract additional suitors as a senior.
Looking Ahead
Josh Hammonds
Anytime Florida and Georgia get together it's bound to be fun and this game
should be no exception. With several players already committed to schools in the
ACC and SEC -- or likely headed there in the future -- this likely won't be the
first time many of these prospects cross paths. Miami already has a pair of
commits in Moss and Jackson and the Hurricanes are still hoping to get Jackson
on campus for an official visit. Hammond is committed to Florida and if he does
indeed sign with the Gators, he could end up having Shaw as a future teammate in
Gainesville.

Cedar Grove coach Jermaine Smith
"The biggest thing is that they're an athletic team with really fast times and
it's going to be a good challenge for us. It's a great challenge for us and a
good measuring stick for us. I've had a couple of opportunities to look at them
in 7-on-7, they have great receivers, they have a good quarterback, they're
really fast so it's going to be challenge for us."
