No. 2 Texas RB ready for pick

San Antonio (Texas) Taft running back Robert Merrill said earlier this week that he was most likely going to commit to Oklahoma State if Texas A&M didn't offer. The Aggies didn't, so now what?
"Well, I'm planning on visiting TCU this weekend," Merrill said early this morning. "I guess that's the plan unless I go ahead and commit to Oklahoma State today at school."

Merrill said he does hope to have a decision either way by early next week.
"I ended up switching my A&M visit because something came up," Merrill, who wouldn't explain what that meant, said.
"TCU is a good school and it's an in-state school. I thought I should at least check them out. But with Darnell committing to Oklahoma State that's on my mind, now."
