No. 14 WR sets two trips

Smith is slated to visit Fresno State on Dec. 7 and UCLA on Dec. 14. Georgia Tech and Michigan are also likely to receive official visits.

The Bulldogs, Bruins and Yellow Jackets have offered scholarships while the interest from the Wolverines is somewhat new.
“Michigan just started talking to me,” Smith, ranked the No. 14 receiver in the country by Rivals100.com, explained. “Coach (Lloyd) Carr has called me a couple of times. He sounds real nice and cool. They’re a big-time program.”
But even though Michigan sounds “cool”, UCLA remains the team to beat.
“UCLA is definitely my No. 1 team,” he said. “Their offensive coordinator (Kelly Skipper) used to be my next door neighbor, so if I go there I think they’ll take good care of me.”
Oregon, Oregon State and Washington, according to Smith, remain in the hunt for signature, although his top four are UCLA, Fresno, Georgia Tech and Michigan.
