Good Counsel Key Prospects
Keandre Jones
LB Keandre Jones -- Committed to
Maryland.
DE Izon Pulley -- Committed to Miami.
DB Travon Stott -- Committed to Maryland.
RB Mohamed Ibrahim (2017) -- Iowa,
Kentucky and a few others have offered Ibrahim.
DE Joshua Paschal (2017) -- Paschal's brother plays at Kentucky, but Clemson, Ohio State, Maryland,
Virginia and Iowa have also offered and will make his decision
difficult.
LB Ayinde Eley (2017) - Eley is headed for a big season. He already has offers from Michigan State, North Carolina, Virginia Tech, Iowa, Syracuse and
Temple.
De Paul Catholic Key Prospects
Kareem Walker
RB Kareem Walker -- Committed to Ohio State.
WR Hasise Dubois -- Committed to Virginia.
OL Thiyo Lukusa -- Committed to Michigan
State.
DE Quayshon Alexander -- Committed to
Nebraska.
DE Michael Dwumfour -- Committed to
Penn State.
Looking Ahead
Michael Dwumfour
Lots of future Big Ten foes will be on the field for this game. Jones and Stott
will surely see Walker again when Maryland plays Ohio State down the road. At
Michigan State Lukusa will have to block Alexander and Dwumfour at some point.
Pulley and Dubois will match up in the ACC down the road. Don't be surprised to
see Walker talking to Paschal at the end of the game about Ohio State.
Quotables
Ayinde Eley
De Paul Catholic assistant coach Bryan Murray:
"Playing a team like this from outside New Jersey is the natural progression for
our program. We are taking them very seriously and they are loaded. Their
linebackers, defensive back and running back are really good and they're big up
front. They already have a handful of guys committed to big schools and they're
for real. They're big, fast and physical. I think the caliber of football that
they play is very similar to what we play and we are expecting a good game.
"I don't think you can attack Keandre Jones. He's a big, athletic guy that can
play the run and the pass. I think they have a great defensive end in Izon
Pulley. Travon Stott in the secondary can really play. Their offense has weapons
at wide receiver, tight end and their running backs should be talked about
more."
Good Counsel head coach Bob Milloy:
"I do know they are in a great league. We've played teams from that league in
St. Joe's Montvale and St. Peter's Prep and thy have good football up there.
It's a great league. I know their tailback is committed to Ohio State and that's
really all you need to know about them. They have a guy that good and he's going
to be a problem. We'll be breaking down a lot of film on them."
