No. 1 tight end taking his time

Alief (Texas) Hastings tight end Martellus Bennett continues to take his time with his decision on which school to attend.
“There is nothing new for me,” the 6-foot-7, 237-pound Bennett said. “I still have Miami and Texas at the top and Oklahoma right after them on my list. I’m also considering Arizona, Duke and LSU.”
Bennett, the nation’s No. 1 ranked tight end, has already taken official visits to Oklahoma (Sept. 17) and Texas (Oct. 1).
“I’ve already taken the two trips,” he said. “I have my trip to Arizona scheduled for later this month (Nov. 26) and I am going to Miami the second weekend of December. For my fifth trip, I am looking at either LSU or Duke. Duke is recruiting me for basketball. I would like play both sports if I can. I don’t know which of those two I will visit with my last trip.”
Bennett, who had earlier committed to Miami, wants to take all of his visits before making a choice this time.
“I am not going to rush this,” he said. “I want to take my visits and then pick the best place for me.”
