No. 1 player now even more confused

Ernie Sims of Tallahassee (Fla.) North Florida Christian is back from Miami. But according to his father, he was a little too blown away to come to the phone and was already taking it easy this afternoon.
“The coaches impressed Ernie the most,” his father, Ernie Sims II, said. “I know we had high expectations heading into the visit with Miami being the team that it is, but I don’t know if we really expected all the great things that we saw.”

And just when it looked like Sims, the nation’s No. 1 player, was going to probably narrow it down to three teams early this week, that might have to wait now.
“I think this visit opened some eyes up,” Sims father said. “Miami is Miami for a reason. They coaches are all great from top to bottom, and coach (Larry) Coker is about as first class as it gets.”
With visits to Miami, Auburn, Florida and Georgia already in the bag, Sims is only let to visit Florida State on January 31. But the real race is to see who is going to be one of the final three teams.
