No. 1 LB makes tough choice

SAN ANTONIO, Tex. - Colton, Calif. linebacker Allen Bradford knew he was going to stay close to home when he narrowed down his choices to UCLA and USC. But until recently, he wasn't sure who to pick. Then USC separated themselves from their rival.
Bradford made his choice alongside Butch Lewis, the pair both picked up USC hats.

Bradford, ranked as the No. 1 linebacker in the country and No. 5 overall nationally, chose the Trojans on NBC at the U.S. Army All American Game. His reasoning was simple.
The 5-foot-11, 219-pound Bradford joins a dominating defensive class for USC along with safeties Antwine Perez and Taylor Mays, defensive lineman Alex Parsons and others. Bradford and Perez are two of the nation's biggest hitters and will form a dangerous 1-2 punch for years to come.
