Nnadi closing in on more offers

Offers are continuing to pile up for 2014 defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi. The Virginia Beach (Va.) Ocean Lakes star has six offers at this time, with a number of other top programs closing in.
"He's got offers from Illinois, NC State, Old Dominion, Virginia, Virginia Tech and North Carolina," Ocean Lakes head coach Chris Scott said. "He's starting to receive mail from more schools like Oregon, Notre Dame, UCLA, Texas, USC, Georgia, Nebraska and Michigan State."

A handful of schools may be next in line to offer.
"Wake Forest called and they really like him along with Syracuse and he's gotten letters from Alabama, Auburn and Clemson," said Coach Scott. "He's keeping me very busy."
With all of this interest has come a few summer visits and possibly a few more during the fall.
"He's been to Virginia, Virginia Tech, Maryland and North Carolina," he said. "It'll be really interesting to see what transpires as the season slows down. We'll know more about where he stands and who he may be able to visit in November."
Coach Scott claims Nnadi is putting together a terrific junior season already.
"He's having the type of year on film that can see his recruitment take off if he continues to play like he has," he said. "He's a guy they are all looking to see."
Nnadi has also proven himself in the classroom with an impressive 3.2 GPA.
