1. WR Ermon Lane, Homestead (Fla.) (2014)
Lane set the tone on the first play of the tournament as he caught a 40-yard touchdown pass on a simple go route. The Rivals100 wideout is explosive off the line of the scrimmage and physical in traffic. He is able to eat up the cushion of defensive backs with little effort and is a tremendous vertical threat. He did have a couple of drops, but it didn't diminish his overall productive day.
2. PQB Sean White, Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) University School (2014)
White's biggest strength is his decision-making ability and accuracy. He knows where he wants to go with the ball and anticipates throwing lanes well. The 7-on-7 format is a good showcase for him because he can make most throws in the passing tree. He connected with the aforementioned Lane and several other targets consistently throughout the day.
Edwards wasn't too far behind Lane for the discussion for top receiver coming out of the first day. The 6-foot-6 pass-catching threat is a huge mismatch against would-be defenders. One play that stood out was his touchdown catch over Chris LammonsClick 3. WR Kendrick Edwards, Miami (Fla.) Norland (2014)Here to view this Link. on a perfectly thrown fade in the corner of the end zone. Edwards used his height to pluck the ball from the out stretched arms of Lammons.
4. PQB Trace McSorley, Ashburn (Va.) Briar Woods (2014)
McSorley did a nice job adjusting to the speed of the competition. He reads the field well and goes through his progressions to find his secondary receiver. The two-way star has a good release and solid footwork. He is sneaky athletic and can make throws on the run when dodging the pass rusher, which is allowed in the NLA tournament rules.
5. WR Antoine Griffin, Cocoa Beach (Fla.) (2014)
Griffin isn't the biggest at 5-foot-9, but he knows how to make plays. He is a very good route-runner and doesn't round off patterns. Last year he was one of the top players in attendance and he started off Day 1 with an impressive showing. He is fluid and quick enough to get by defensive backs off the line, but he will need add weight and muscle to consistently get off press coverage.
6. ATH Brandon Powell, Deerfield Beach (Fla.) (2014)
Powell excels in 7-on-7 showcases because of his quickness in space and lateral speed. He is a threat catching the ball out of the backfield or in the slot against a safety or linebacker. His ability to cut on a dime and change gears with relative ease is superb. He can score from anywhere on the field and demands a high volume of touches because of his big-play ability.

Worton catches everything with his hands and creates good separation from cornerbacks. He made a highlight reel catch against the South Florida Express Pro squad, outjumping two defenders on a fade for a score.
