NJs Zarkoskie takes an unofficial visit

West Orange (N.J.) Seton Hall Prep offensive center Chris Zarkoskie has started taking unofficial visits. Last weekend the 6-foot-2, 285-pounder made a trip to one college in the ACC.
"I went up to Boston College on an unofficial visit and I'm planning to go to Rutgers this weekend," he said. "I liked Boston College a lot. As with a lot of the schools I'm looking at they were more recruiting the whole person instead of just the football player. I also like that they are a Jesuit institution since I want to go into religious studies.

"On the visit, I spoke with coach Turner, McGovern, Sirmans and Spaziani. I briefly talked to coach Jags too. I'm obviously very interested in them like many schools."
Meanwhile, the Garden State prospect plans to head up to Piscataway this weekend.
"I've been there a few times and visited with my teammate Grant Mayes," he said. "I've met the coaches before and know a lot about them, but I want to go and figure out more about the academics and what has changed."
Spring break is coming up for Zarcoskie and the lineman plans to visit a few schools for trips including Rutgers, Boston College, Virginia and Duke. He is also looking at heading to Princeton in April and possibly to the Elite College Combine later this spring.
Do any colleges lead for the lineman?
"I don't know if anyone really stands out," he said. "I would say that there are about 10 schools I'm really interested in. They are Rutgers, Boston College, Penn, Harvard, Yale, Duke, Maryland, Virginia, Penn State and Connecticut.
"Besides education, I want to go to a school that is similar to mine. I want the coaches to love the game and be there to help the kids along. I want a good nucleus and atmosphere on campus. I'd also like to stay on the East Coast close to home."
Zarcoskie earned second team all-state, first team all-non public, first team all-county and first team all-conference last season.
