NJs Berry is a huge, raw OT prospect

Offensive tackle Sean Berry is a huge line prospect out of Irvington, N.J. The 6-foot-7, 310-pounder is receiving his share of interest from schools in the ACC, Big East, Big Ten and SEC.
"Sean is getting interest from Virginia, Michigan State, Rutgers, Temple, Illinois, Florida, Iowa and Connecticut mostly," said Irvington head coach Darnell Grant. "Every day he gets a stack of mail, it's ridiculous. At the moment he is wide open and has no clue who he is really looking at yet."

That is mostly because Berry has only been playing football since his sophomore year.
"Last season was his first full year playing for us and he started," he said. "Before that he had just been playing basketball as the starting power forward averaging 14 points and 10 rebounds a game.
"He has transferred that ability to the football field and is a big, monster out there with strong arms and big hands. He runs well and has great lateral movement. I think he is a natural offensive tackle."
Despite it being just his first year starting as a junior, Berry ended up being named all-area and all-conference.
"I was really surprised he was up for anything last year, but he is a legit player that is a freak out on the field," he said. "I think he could definitely grow some more because he was 6-foot-4 a year ago and I thought he was done. I'd say he may get up to 6-foot-9 and still gain a little more weight too."
