NJs Beckford schedules an unofficial

Irvington, N.J. linebacker Dwayne Beckford plans to take his first unofficial of the season later this month. The 6-foot-0, 209-pounder plans to visit one of the programs that has offered him.
"I'm supposed to be going to Purdue at the end of the month, I think on the 29th," he stated. "I really want to go and see the campus. One of our former receivers goes there and he tells me how nice of a campus it is. It'll give me a chance to meet the players and see what they are all about."

Currently the unofficial to Purdue is the only one planned for Beckford.
"I think there's a chance I could go on other visits, but I'm more than likely going to wait until after the season."
The two-star prospect claims that schools including Purdue, Temple, Rutgers, Connecticut and Michigan State are leading for his services since they are showing the most interest.
Beckford and Irvington won their first game on Saturday 28-22.
"I can say we're a lot tougher this year," he said. "We were down 13-6 at the half and pulled it out. This is a special team. They returned two kickoffs back in the fourth quarter.
"I think I'm doing well too. I had about 12 tackles, a deflection and a sack in the game. I was satisfied, but could have done better."
