NJ WR visits Penn State

Wide receiver John Tsimis of Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic enjoyed a very successful junior season, and is beginning to enjoy the results. College interest is increasing and Tsimis has taken several visits, including one yesterday to Penn State for their junior day.
"The junior day was good," said Tsimis. "I like the school a lot. The athletic facilities were really nice."

Tsimis, 6-foot-0 and 175-pounds, was also impressed with the coaching staff.
"I like them a lot," he said. "They were all interesting and knew what they were talking about."
While Tsimis did not head home with an offer, he did get some recruiting information from the coaching staff.
"I got one of the wide receiver coach's phone numbers and he said we would stay in touch, and to text him if I had any questions," said Tsimis.
Aside from Penn State, Tsimis has stayed busy with visits.
"I visited Rutgers and UPenn a few months ago, I visited Princeton last week and I'm visiting Boston College and Duke next month," said Tsimis, who claims to be receiving the most current interest from Boston College and Princeton.
Aside from his college visits, Tsimis will also look to prove himself this summer.
"I'm definitely going to attend camps, but I'm not sure which ones yet," said Tsimis. "I want to prove that I'm a D1 player and that I run a good 40 time. After basketball season I'm going to lift with the football team four times a week and I'm going to work on my speed."
During his junior season Tsimis finished with 50 receptions for 754 yards and 11 touchdowns.
