NJ ATH has a favorite

Athlete Reginald Green of Cranford, N.J. showed off his athletic abilities during an impressive junior season, and is now beginning to reel in the offers. With a few visits lined up, Green is beginning to piece together a timeline for his final decision and has a current favorite.
"I have the two offers from UMass and Rutgers and more schools are starting to show some interest," said Green.

Some of those schools are UConn, N.C. State, Boston College and Pittsburgh. Green has already been able to visit a few of these schools, and has plans for at least two more.
"I've taken visits to UConn, UMass and Rutgers and I'm planning on visiting N.C. State and Pitt in the future," said Green, who is 6-foot-3 and 200-pounds.
Aside from these visits, Green also has a few plans for camps and events.
"I'm going to UConn's one-day camp, because they said they want to see me in camp and I'm planning on going to the Rivals/VTO camp in April," said Green.
At this time Green is being recruited as a safety, outside linebacker, wide receiver and wildcat quarterback by schools. He was asked if he had any preference as to his future position.
"I'd like to play offense, but if I have a chance to play earlier at another position then I'll do it," said Green.
With the Spring Evaluation Period quickly approaching, more interest should continue to come for Green. However, he already has an idea of when he would like to make a decision and also has a current favorite.
"I think I'm going to make a decision in July because I want to go through May with my recruiting, and I really like Rutgers," said Green. "I like the closeness at Rutgers, the coaching staff and I just like the family aspect of it."
