Niutei makes his final decision

The journey is over for Euless (Texas) Trinity defensive tackle Henry Niutei as he made his decision between his final two schools – SMU and TCU.
After consecutive official visits to both schools the past two weekends, it was decision time for the 6-foot-3, 250-pound prospect who de-committed from UTEP to stay closer to home.

"Yeah, I did it," Niutei said in reference to a decision. "I'm going to TCU man. It wasn't a huge edge, but I felt more at home at TCU. I like the coaches over there. They showed me a lot of good stuff and I basically picked on that."
"I really liked SMU, but it was almost too fancy for me. I just felt TCU was better for me."
Niutei also said that he really was looking at distance from his Euless home.
"TCU is a littler closer too," Niutei said. "I always said I wanted to stay close to home, so that did play a factor."
One thing is for sure, the Dallas school will not have to deal with any other visits from their new commitment. Niutei says that he is all ready for Signing Day.
"I'm just waiting to sign with TCU," he said. "I'm all done and I've got nothing else planned."
