Nine for Knight

Rashad Knight is a cornerback prospect from Jacksonville (Fla.) Trinity Christian High School. Knight, 5-10 and 180 pounds, received another scholarship offer earlier today.

"Louisville makes nine," Knight said. "I wasn't expecting that one. Our coach was on the phone and he was joking around. He said Louisville offered. They sent the (offer) letter out today and it should be here in a few days. I don't really know too much. I know we had a player a few years back from Trinity go to Louisville. It's a team I will look into further and really want to check out."

Add the Cardinals to an already impressive offer list that includes Vanderbilt, Purdue, Illinois, Georgia Tech, BYU, Syracuse, Maryland, and Indiana.

"I am still open and haven't narrowed things down just yet."

Knight has only visit one school and that school was Florida State. But that will change this summer.

"I know I will check out Illinois and Vandy for sure. I will also camp at Florida State. Coach Mickey (Andrews) wants me to come and I think they may offer me."

Knight will be in Tallahassee on Sunday for the Nike Camp at FSU.
