NIKE Camp results in offers for Arizona DB

Several players from Arizona made the road trip to Palo Alto this past weekend to take part in the NorCal NIKE Camp. One player we expected big things from was Chandler (Ariz.) corner back Marc Anthony and he was strong throughout picking up two more offers following the event.
Anthony, 6-0, 185 pounds is one of the elite corners in the West this year and he proved it on Saturday. He came in to the camp with offers from Utah, Washington, Washington State, Boise State, Arizona State and Wyoming and you can add two more to the list.

"Oregon State and San Diego State both offered as well," Anthony said. "It was kind of cool how the Oregon State offer came down. When I got to the airport after the camp, I saw my recruiter from Oregon State at one of the gates and went over to say hi.
"He told me they liked what they saw today (Saturday) and were offering me a scholarship. When I got home, I got the message that San Diego State was offering as well and that was kind of a surprise because I hadn't heard a thing from them before they offered.
"Right now, I'm open to everyone recruiting me and don't have a short list of favorites. I'm just going to take some trips this summer, see who else recruits me and then I'll begin to narrow my list based on who is showing me the most interest.
"Cal and Colorado are the two schools I'm planning to camp with right now. Neither school has offered but both are showing a lot of interest as well as Michigan, Illinois and UTEP."
