Irving (Texas) MacArthur three-star cornerback Brent Nickerson is one of the few kids that have second thoughts after making an original commitment. After he pledged to Oklahoma State, Nickerson, who is 6-foot and 185 pounds, he visited Texas Tech this past weekend. So where is he in the process?
"As far as we know he's still committed to Oklahoma State," MacArthur coach David Beaty said. "He said that he is still committed to them, but Texas Tech is still in the mix, too. He really liked his official visit there, and he knows the coaches aren't going to give up recruiting him until he signs."
Nickerson also had offers from Kansas State, Notre Dame, Washington State and Tulsa. Beaty said one new team is thinking about entering the fray, but it's unclear if they will at this point.

"Oklahoma was just in here today," Beaty said. "They were talking to us about maybe seeing if he'd be interested in coming up for a visit this weekend."
Beaty said it's unclear whether or not Oklahoma will officially extend the visit offer or how serious they are about his cornerback, but with him still thinking things over you can never know what will happen.
