Nicholson has a favorite

Athlete Damian Nicholson out of Manassas (Va.) Osbourn Park claims four scholarships. The 5-foot-11, 185-pounder has visited one of the schools recently and plans to head back soon.
"I have offers from Charlotte, East Carolina, Liberty and West Virginia," he said. "West Virginia has offered me as a cornerback, but I really want to play offense in college. I could see myself playing corner though."

Nicholson is coming off a strong junior season that saw him throw for over 900-yards and six touchdowns and run for over 950-yards and 28 scores. His play earned him all-district honors.
Though he has four offers, Nicholson has interest from a number of other programs including Maryland, NC State, Ohio State, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Tennessee, Penn State, Syracuse and Hampton.
"They are all just telling me that I'm a a good fit in their offenses," he said. "A lot of them wanted me to come to camps this year. I was planning on going to a lot of camps, but since I got offered, I'm really chilling instead and working for my senior year."
While he may not have attended any camps, he did take a visit to West Virginia.
"I went on June 24th and I'm planning to go back for their camp on July 28th," he said. "I liked West Virginia a lot. It's my kind of town and the people were nice up there. I like the coaching staff and the facilities are really good."
There has been a rumor circulating that the Mountaineers may be his dream school.
"I've always watched them and I'm really close with Brandon Hogan," he said. "Pat White was my idol and he went there and Noel Devine. I wanted an offer from them and right now they are my No. 1 school, but I'm not sure if I'll decide anytime soon. I really want to wait to see if I get any SEC offers. I'm still open and my mind is not set 100%."
