Nice offers, but WR waiting on two

Like many top players in the Sunshine State, Tallahassee Godby’s Del Roberts has a number of major scholarship offers under his belt.
There are two big ones, however, that the talented wide receiver is waiting for prior to making any decisions on his college destination.

“Florida State and Florida are the ones I’m really interested in,” he said. “I went to Florida State’s camp this summer, and it turned out really good. They liked the way I ran my routes, caught the ball and showed what I could do with my quickness. I think I opened some eyes. They said they were going to start watching me closer during the season.
“Florida’s the school I’ve always wanted to go to since I was little. Most people around here liked Florida State the most, and I did too, but I really liked Florida’s style of play. I thought it was really exciting.”
Roberts (5-9, 165, 4.4) has scholarship offers from Iowa, Nebraska, North Carolina, Middle Tennessee, Central Florida and Toledo. He's also receiving interest from N.C. State, South Carolina and Syracuse.
“As of now, from my offers, I really don’t have a leader,” he said. “I want to wait until the end of the season and see how everything looks before I name one particular school.”
Roberts, a three-year starter, caught 21 passes for 517 yards and six touchdowns as a junior. He’s also a solid student, carrying a 2.84 GPA and a 16 on the ACT. He projects as a full-qualifier but will take the ACT again in hopes of improving his position.
