*****
1. CB Kyler Gordon, Washington
Gordon is arguably the best overall athlete in this draft class and at 6-foot and 200 pounds, he could still pop off a sub-4.4 40-yard dash. His vertical, shuttle and broad jump should steal the show as well.
*****
2. WR Calvin Austin, Memphis
Austin is a former track standout. While he’s not a big receiver, he could challenge for the top 40 time in this combine with that track experience.
*****
3. WR Christian Watson, North Dakota State
Watson is a big receiver at 6-foot-4 and more than 210 pounds, and he could run a sub-4.5 and surprise in the shuttle as well to boost his stock. He has a chance to become that FCS prospect that franchises fall in love with at receiver.
*****
4. CB Tariq Woolen, UTSA
Woolen is a massive corner at nearly 6-foot-4 and he has the ability to put up some serious times in the 40 and shuttle. He’s a physical freak although he’s still raw as a defensive back.
*****
5. CB Kalon Barnes, Baylor
Barnes has run a 10.04 100-meter dash in high school and is my sleeper to run the fastest 40 at the combine. If that happens, he will quickly rocket up draft boards.
