Neyland atmosphere wows Corley

Detroit (Mich.) King four-star wide receiver Donnie Corley had visited Tennessee prior to this past weekend's official visit, but Saturday was his first time seeing a home game in Knoxville and the Neyland Stadium crowd ranked among the highlights of his trip.

"The atmosphere - that was probably the loudest game I ever went to," Corley said. "I haven't been anywhere with that. Other places are loud, but that was amazing."
Corley drove down with his parents, arriving in Knoxville on Saturday morning. The trip answered questions for each member of the family.
"They feel comfortable and I have family down there too," Corley said. "A couple of them got to go to the game, so they all caught up. My mom would be really comfortable with it.
"They had a great time. They loved everything about it - the game, how they treated us and the relationships."
Tennessee sophomore Emmanuel Moseley was Corley's player-host for the visit, but he also connected with a freshman running back from his hometown.
"I chilled with John Kelly too," Corley said. "He just said the coaches are going to be real all the time. He said some coaches who recruit you change-up, but (Tennessee coaches) are still real with you and he likes that about them lot.
Wide receivers coach Zach Azzanni is Corley's primary recruiter and the staffer he spent the most time with on the visit. After seeing it in-person, Corley was impressed with the product he is turning out on the field.
"The receivers are playing well," Corley said. "I was watching how they are playing and they are getting off the ball easy, so I liked that.
"If you look at the coaching staff, probably half of them are from Michigan. So, that (contributes) to the relationship part of it."
Prior to Tennessee, Corley took an official visit to Michigan State the weekend of Sept. 12. A decision will likely follow after all official visits are taken."
"I am probably going to take the last three," Corley said. "It's kind of hard because a lot of schools are (under consideration): Michigan, Ohio State, LSU, Notre Dame and even though the USC coach got fired, I still like that."
Corley has yet to schedule any of his other three official visits, but he does plan to make an unofficial visit to Michigan for their home game on Saturday.
