Enter Greg Minzer, another two-sport athlete, who has taken less than a dozen snaps at the varsity level.

"We got him in during one of our first games, just to get him a varsity snap," Highlander head coach Mark Schmidt said. "He can throw it 70 yards through a brick wall, but we'll see how he reacts this spring."
It will be a short offseason for Minzer (6-foot-6, 200-pounds), because he is a starting pitcher for the state-ranked Highlander baseball team.
