According to administrative assistant at Louisville (Ky.) Trinity and CardinalSports.com, the nation’s No. 5 pro-style quarterback, Brian Brohm, is going to announce his decision at 3:30 p.m. est Tuesday at a news conference at his high school.
Rivals100.com analyst Jeff Drummond spoke with Brohm’s father, Oscar, on Sunday and he indicated that a decision would be announced either Tuesday or Wednesday.
Brohm, ranked as the nation’s No. 78 player overall, is expected to pick between Louisville, Notre Dame, Tennessee and Kentucky. It’s believed that Louisville, Notre Dame and Tennessee are the front runners.
From the outside looking in, Louisville is considered the favorite for Brohm. His father and brother, Jeff, also played quarterback for the Cardinals. Jeff Brohm is currently the quarterbacks coach under UofL head man Bobby Petrino.
“A lot of people think he’s going there no matter what, and I won’t tell you he doesn’t like Louisville a lot, but it’s really been a tougher decision than people might realize,” his father said.
“They’re all pretty good choices. Each of them offers a different scenario that is attractive to him.”
