Newell may be headed for warm weather
"I have around 20 offers now," Bethlehem (Pa.) Catholic defensive end Kyle Newell said. "I haven't really narrowed things down all the way yet."
"Some schools I'm looking at are Virginia, Maryland, Florida, Florida State, Miami, USC, and Boston College. Those are my favorites. Some of them offered, but not all of them."

"Maryland and Virginia offered. And Florida State and Boston College."
"I'm not really looking at Penn State and Pitt. I want to go out-of-state. I just like the other schools more. Weather is one of the factors."
"I'm looking for a school I'm comfortable with and is good academically."
"I'm not sure about any official visits. I'm not close to picking a college."
The 6-foot-5 and 230 pound Newell made 80 tackles including five sacks during his junior season. Newell is the Rivals.com number two strongside defensive end prospect and the number three overall prospect in the state of Pennsylvania.
