New York WR should have big 2009

Wide receiver Shawn Wynns should have a strong 2009 campaign after a solid junior season. He's hearing from one school right now, and he's hoping a strong showing at a combine in the near future will improve his stock.
The 6-foot-2, 170-pound prospect from Harlem (N.Y.) Wadleigh has good quickness and a frame that will allow him room for growth.

"One of my strengths is my catching ability," Wynns said. "Then I'd say my ability to get open and my speed."
Wynns, a teammate of safety Ziad Elghandour, has one school on his trail. He has his own list of favorites, however.
"I've been getting mail from Temple," he said. "I haven't talked to them yet but they've sent me mail.
"My favorites are Miami, California, Oregon, UCLA and Texas."
Wynns said he plans on attending the Pittsburgh NIKE Combine, where he will have a chance to improve his standing with college coaches.
