New York TE talks leaders

Pittsford (N.Y.) Pittsford Mendon tight end Matt Landry holds two offers. The 6-foot-4, 228-pounder is awaiting more interest from schools as he evaluates his options.
"I have two scholarships from New Hampshire and Buffalo," he said. "I also have invitations from Harvard, Cornell and Princeton.

"I just sent out my film a week and a half ago and I'm starting to hear back."
Currently the two-star prospect is looking at an official visit in December to one of the Ivy League schools.
Is he favoring anybody?
"As of right now I probably like the Ivy League," he said. "I like Princeton and Harvard because it's great football and a good education."
While he awaits more interest, Landry is impressing on the field.
"Our season ended last Saturday at 5-3," he said. "I played well. The whole season I moved around from tight end to defensive end to linebacker and left guard.
"I can tell my strength improved a lot after the season, particularly my bench and squat. I'm also faster. I'm running a solid 4.7 flat and I'm almost down to a 4.65."
