At 6-foot-4 and 280 pounds, sophomore John Elliott is already a big-time prospect out of East Meadow, N.Y.
The tackle prospect has heard from schools including Virginia, Michigan and Syracuse and plans on visiting Rutgers in the upcoming month.
This past season Elliott helped East Meadow to a 4-4 record as he was named all-conference.
"I think our team got what we needed to get done, but we're hungry for next year," he said. "This was my first year starting and I stepped up. I did pretty well, but there's room for improvement."
Elliott hasn't really looked into recruiting yet, but said he's mostly been hearing from more and more schools over the past month.
This spring Elliott heading to the Blue Chip Combine in May and will possibly camp at Penn State this summer.
