New York QB speaks out

Buffalo (N.Y.) Canisius quarterback Travis Eman has been quiet throughout the early stages of the recruiting process but he has been picking up interest from colleges.
The 6-foot-2, 200-pound dual-threat quarterback can beat a defense with his arm or legs, and that versatility makes him a perfect fit in many of today's spread offenses.

Last fall Eman passed for about 2,100 yards and rushed for 800 more, so he can really put pressure on a defense even when things break down.
Buffalo and TCU have offered scholarship to Eman, and while neither school is from a BCS conference each has had varying degrees of recent success. They aren't the only schools showing interest.
"Well I've been talking to Penn State so I'm most likely going to be attending that (camp)," Eman said when asked about his summer plans.
"Oregon is showing interest. They are coming to visit me soon. I've also got a few (school) visits from Boston College, Duke, Maryland and Penn State. Other than that Miami, Syracuse, West Virginia and Georgia Tech are some schools showing interest."
Eman doesn't have any favorites but may know more after he receives more feedback from schools over the summer.
