New York QB is one to watch

Buffalo (N.Y.) St. Joseph's is home to one of the region's top quarterbacks from the Class of 2012.
The New York school benefited tremendously from the presence of Chad Kelly, a 6-foot-3, 205-pound quarterback.

Last fall Kelly passed for 2,159 yards with 24 touchdowns against eight interceptions. He also rushed for more than 1,000 yards, so he's a dual-threat quarterback in the most true sense of the term.
Buffalo offered Kelly a little earlier in the process and on Wednesday morning the junior quarterback heard that he had received a verbal offer from Western Michigan.
Who else is showing interest?
"Georgia, Pitt, Boston College, Miami," Kelly began. "A little bit from everybody.
"We actually just sent my film out today and I guess Rutgers is really interested. We just sent them a couple of game films."
Georgia has been interested in Kelly for quite a while now.
The New York quarterback said he doesn't have any favorites. One factor will weigh more heavily on his mind than any other when push comes to shove.
"Whatever's the best fit," he said. "I want to go to the college that can best prepare me for the NFL."
