New teams pop up on No. 23 player

A whole lot of shaking has gone on with Woodbridge (Va.) C.D. Hylton linebacker Ahamd Brooks when it comes to his favorite schools.
Florida State, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Tennessee remain teams that Brooks, who is 6-foot-3 and 230 pounds, said he'd visit for sure. But there are two new teams that have popped up as potential visits for the Rivals100 selection and the No. 23 player overall in the nation.

"I'm thinking about USC and N.C. State now a lot, too," Brooks said.
"I was pretty impressed with their coaches when they called. They talked to me about a couple of things. I've never been to California, and N.C. State has an aggressive defense that I like."
So does he have a leader?
"Florida State, Virginia and Virginia Tech are my top three," he said. "Virginia Tech is also bumping up there now."
Brooks recorded nine tackles in his first game of the season as a senior.
