Offensive tackle Ryan Poles from Canandaigua, N.Y. loved his recent visit to Volunteer country. The 6-foot-5, 285-pound 16-year-old is considered one of the top offensive lineman in the country and has 15 offers to date.
"I was really impressed with everything about Tennessee, the coaches and facilities were great. I attended their camp for one day and it was great."
Ryan also visited Ohio State, Penn State and Pittsburgh on unofficial visits and will be camping at Boston College, Ohio State and Syracuse. Ryan's dad and uncle played football for Boston College in the early eighties and another uncle played for Tennessee in the mid eighties.
Ryan is beginning to narrow down his choices and for now he likes Tennessee, Boston College, Syracuse, Ohio State and Michigan State. Tennessee has yet to offer, but after his impressive camp the offer should come soon.
