New SEC offer for 4-star LB

The offers continue to pile up for Keith Simms. The Bethesda (Md.) Landon School linebacker has received offers from schools like California, Florida and Wisconsin but Tennessee is the latest school to pull the trigger.
"I was very excited," said the 6-foot-3, 225-pound Simms. "Coach Thigpen from Tennessee left a voicemail on my coach's phone. Tennessee plays in one of the most prominent conferences out there and has great facilities, fan base and coaches."

Simms has been talking to a bunch of schools a lot lately.
"Stanford, California, Notre Dame, Michigan and Oregon," Simms said. "Those are the schools I have been most in communication with recently.
"At this point I do not have a favorite school," he said. "I love the Kentucky coaches. Coach Mainord is my man. It's a great conference, good school, great fan base and brand."
Simms has plenty of visits in mind and the next step in his recruitment is inching closer.
"I'm going to visit North Carolina, Duke, N.C. State, Wake Forest or East Carolina and then Stanford and California too during Easter," said Simms. "I just want to talk to coaches get a feel for the campus and school in general.
"I will probably make cuts during the summer," he said. "I don't have a time frame, I will announce when I feel I have my mind made up to be 100% to the school that's the best fit for me."
Some of Simms' other offers include Ohio State, Virginia Tech, West Virginia and many others.
