New schools lead for Majors

For a long time three schools were out in front in the race for Pennsylvania linebacker Corey Majors.
Now Majors, a 6-foot-1, 230-pound prospect from Langhorne (Pa.) Neshaminy, still has favorites, but his list of favorites is a bit different now than it was a month or two ago.

In the past Minnesota, Pitt and Rutgers were Majors' three favorite schools. As circumstances have changed so have Majors' list of favorites.
"Now I think Temple and Villanova are my top two," he explained. "The last time I talked to them was last week. They've offered me and I like both of them.
"I like Temple because they're local. They're a program that's coming up and starting to be good. Their coaching is real good, especially coach Golden, and they have a good defense. I'm a defensive player so I'm looking at that. It's a pretty good school, too.
"Villanova is kind of similar to Temple. They're a good team. They just came off a championship so I know they're doing good and the coaching's good. I really felt welcomed when I went over there for a camp."
Majors doesn't plan on making a decision any time soon. He hopes to take some official visits after his season is over. For now Majors says he isn't focusing on recruiting.
This fall Majors will be lining up at linebacker, running back and fullback, but Temple and Villanova are recruiting him exclusively as a fullback.
