New schools chasing after Domicone

Xenia (Ohio) Beavercreek two-star quarterback/athlete Zach Domicone did everything he could on the field this season to help improve his stock. He rushed for 1,111 yards and had nine scores. He also had 605 yards passing, and led his league in rushing yards from his quarterback spot.
All of that play sparked early offers from Ohio, Air Force and then recently from Ohio and UConn. It's also sparking interest from a Big 12 team that's going to start to dip into Ohio more and more.

First things first, Domicone was slated to take an official visit to UConn this weekend but couldn't because of the weather. He's already working on a new date.
"I had a visit scheduled to go out to UConn this week, but I had to cancel it because of the weather that they had up there," he said. "I rescheduled that visit for the weekend of Jan. 18th."
Domicone said quite a few new schools are coming after him.
"I have been hearing from a few new schools as well. West Virginia has come up to my school to See me a couple of times now," he said. "I am interested to see what they have to say offer wise.
"Then out of the blue Nebraska called me last week. Coach JP (John Papuchis) actually flew out to visit me at my house last Thursday. It was great to talk to him and here what he had to say about the school. I really like the idea of playing for Bo Pelini. I think he will bring a defensive philosophy to the team and even though they struggled a bit this year I think he will get things going in the right direction."
Domicone said he's hoping these new schools will eventually offer, and he knows what he's looking for when trying to find the perfect school.
"I am really looking for a few things – I want a comfortable fit with the coaching staff, a good surrounding area, a good group of guys on the team that I can see myself fitting in with not only personality wise but also on the football side of things as well," he said. "Then academically, I want the school to have the things that I am looking for. I want to major in sports management."
Some schools have even talked to Domicone about playing on defense.
"Outside linebacker and safety are the two positions that everyone seems to talk about when we talk positions other than quarterback," he said. "I am very comfortable playing defense as I have played on that side of the football all through high school and I enjoy playing defense.
"I really thought that I was going to make my decision this week. But when Nebraska came out of the blue last week I decided that I am going to slow things down and just wait and see what them and West Virginia are going to say.
"Nebraska is suppose to call this week and let me know what is going to happen. I am just playing the waiting game for right now. When I decide I will probably just do an announcement at school with my coaches and parents. I am he first Division I prospect to come out of my high school so it is kind of special for me."
