New School On Superstar RBs List

If you haven’t had a chance to see Newport News (Va.) Heritage all-purpose running back Michael Johnson play football yet, you should treat yourself. After all, you’ll be watching the best player at his position in the country. In fact, Johnson likes to watch himself run – on video games.
“I just got the latest NCAA Football for Play Station 2,” the 5-foot-10, 180-pound speedster said. “I haven’t created myself yet, but I might.”

So which team was he using in the game?
“Right now I’m Miami,” he said. “Man are they fast.”
So, with Johnson listing Miami, Virginia and Florida as his top three for some time now, does that mean anything?
“No, not really,” he said. “I was Virginia first.”
Johnson said a new team has entered the mix as well.
“I like Penn State as well,” he said. “Florida has sort of dropped on my list a bit and Penn State has moved up. I’m going there on September 1st to see the Miami-Penn State game on an unofficial visit, but that’s more to see Miami at this point.”
Johnson scored 52 touchdowns last season and had one game where he rushed for 284 yards on nine carries with six of them going for touchdowns.
