New school involved with Kaleopaa

Koa Kaleopaa is taking his time with the recruiting process and that's a good thing because the La Mirada, Calif., outside linebacker continues to receive new interest.
The latest is from Boise State and Kaleopaa said he's definitely intrigued by that program and would like to learn more.

"Boise State is one of the newer ones," Kaleopaa said.
"I was talking to them for a bit and then it stopped and after school finished they started messaging me asking me to send the transcripts, asking me about the school, what I think of them so they might be a potential offer."
As for the schools that have already offered, the 6-foot-3, 250-pound three-star prospect is considering official visits but still plans to take his time.
Kaleopaa, rated as the No. 37 outside linebacker in the 2013 class by Rivals.com, said he's looking at Ole Miss, Colorado and Arkansas as potential official visit destinations and he'd like to take an unofficial trip to Cal soon.
In total, the La Mirada standout has offers from Arizona, Arkansas, Cal, Colorado, Hawaii, Ole Miss, Utah and Wyoming.
"I'm going to just wait and lay low," Kaleopaa said.
"I'm absorbing it all. I want to take my officials to see places that I actually like and a place I can be at. Most places I'm waiting to take officials after the season so if I don't make my mind up then I'll take at least three of my officials after the season."
Kaleopaa is rated No. 60 in the California state rankings.
